Engineering background · Product mindset · Shipping at scale

Saeed Saedi

Technical Product Manager at Kifpool.me, a crypto exchange. I turn what users need and what the business wants into software that ships on time and holds up when the market moves fast.

Problems I’ve owned, end to end

Five problems from a crypto exchange and a factory floor. Each one covers what was wrong, what I did and what changed.

Kifpool.me · Delivery

From one sprint plan to service ownership

Delivery for 31 microservices ran on one shared sprint plan, so cross-team dependencies kept surfacing mid-sprint. I moved delivery to service-level ownership and put dependencies on the table before each sprint.

Kifpool.me · Visibility

Real-time delivery visibility for the C-suite

An org-wide tracking framework that shows velocity, risk and release confidence for every service, so leadership sees delivery as it happens instead of in status meetings.

Kifpool.me · Reliability

Releases that protect people’s money

On an exchange, a bad release can touch people’s money. I made rollout plans, rollback paths and monitoring a standard part of shipping anything that touches financial data.

Scaling a production line 8×

Designed a new production line and restructured shift operations to take output from 3,000 to 25,000 units a month, with less waste and less downtime.

Toosalem Industrial · Internal product

Software for a factory floor

Production depended on manual tracking. I built two internal systems, for packaging and for maintenance, that 21 people used and that made our KPI reporting more accurate.

The path

Engineer → Production manager → Product manager

A non-linear career, on purpose. What connects it is building systems that stay precise and reliable at scale: first in code, then on a production line, now in a product used by millions.

    Engineer & co-founder

Co-founded a data-collection startup and designed and built the full-stack platform, from first idea to early product-market-fit work.

    Production Manager

Ran production for an automotive manufacturer, with 80 people across three shifts, and scaled output eightfold with a new line.

How I work

Five working principles

  1. 01

    Dependencies on day zero

Any feature that touches more than one service gets a dependency map before the sprint starts, not halfway through it.

  2. 02

Every sprint has a cut list

We agree up front what we drop first if time gets tight, so a slip is a decision, not a surprise.

  3. 03

Success is defined before we build

Every feature starts with the metric it should move, and we check that metric after we ship.

  4. 04

    Decisions go in writing

Options, criteria and the decision are written down before we build, so nobody re-argues it three sprints later.

  5. 05

    Nothing ships blind

Logs, metrics, alerts and a runbook before production, and a rollback path before launch.
